Local man seriously injured in motorcycle accident

A Bonners Ferry man suffered serious injuries Monday night in a single vehicle motorcycle accident on Canyon View Drive.

Kinley Nelson lost control of his 1981 Honda motorcycle at 9:40 p.m. when he lost control and crashed. He was transported to Boundary Community Hospital with life-threatening injuries, and later flown by MedStar to a regional medical center.

According to the Idaho State Police, the accident is still under investigation.
