Buy Krispy Kremes support local hotline

| February 3, 2011 8:38 AM

Krispy Kremes are being made available to support V-day and the Boundary County Youth and  Domestic Violence Hotline.

V-Day, is a global activist movement to stop violence against women and girls. It generates broader attention for the fight to stop violence against women and girls.

The Krispy Kremes will be delivered fresh on Valentines Day and can be pre-ordered by calling 267-7334 up to 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 11.

V-Day was born of the belief that until these themes are addressed, these violations named and taken up by whole communities as an unacceptable desecration of human dignity, the violence will continue.

V-Day is a catalyst that promotes creative events to increase awareness, raise money and revitalize the spirit of existing anti-violence organizations.

The Boundary County Crisis Line has worked to help many in this community to improve and make their lives safer. This Valentine’s Day fundraiser will help the task force to continue to help those in need.

All proceeds benefits the Boundary County Youth Crisis and Domestic Violence Hotline.

No sweeter way to treat someone you love on Valentine’s Day and support your local Domestic Violence Program in its effort to raise awareness of the meaning V-Day.
