Carpenter's column celebrates small things

I got a laugh out of Ken Carpenter's "Panties" article.
My husband and I were recently doing some spring cleaning, and he expressed horror at the number of panties in my underwear drawer. In the spirit of marital harmony, I threw out six or seven pairs (because those pairs were taking up sooo much space). I
It was amusing to see something on the same subject just a few weeks later. I assert that I own less than the average American woman, my husband insists that I still own about twenty-five pairs.
Neither of us have bothered to count and see who was right, but we had fun arguing. It might be a silly subject on a trivial item. But it's the small things that make life just a bit more enjoyable. Write on, Ken!
