Judgement on elk poacher unfair

| January 27, 2011 11:14 AM

I have started a letter several times in the past few weeks and after reading Tim Saunders letter concerning this matter. I’ll say I agree with him that Roland Hall getting off after killing at least one bull elk out of season (a felony) is a bunch of hooey.

Our prosecutor decided to drop the charges against a good old boy yet a guilty plea from his partner. Mr. Liermann was man enough to admit his guilt and receive his sentence. I think a first year law student could have gotten a guilty verdict without having to use the testimony given the day of the crime.

It’s my opinion we’ve seen another example of who you are in action.  It also make me wonder how many of the elk Roland Hall has hit in the past with his bow were taken the day before the season opened.
