No more homeless pets

| January 27, 2011 11:07 AM

The board of directors of Caring People for Animals is grateful for your support in 2010. Your donations of goods to our thrift store, your store purchases, your pet adoptions, and your cash donations enabled CPA to make significant progress toward our vision of No More Homeless Pets.

Pet shelters and animal pounds everywhere are full of unaltered dogs and cats, many of whom will be euthanized for lack of homes. In 2010, because of your support, CPA spent $47,000 locally to help provide low-cost spaying and neutering for hundreds of pets. This service will result in significantly fewer unwanted litters of kittens and puppies and, therefore, fewer homeless pets in Boundary County. In addition, we found new homes for 100 cats and 58 dogs, all spayed or neutered.

We thank you for improving the lives of so many dogs and cats, and wish you and your pets a healthy and happy 2011.
