Lee Franklin McGlocklin

Lee Franklin McGlocklin passed away on July 3, 2011, at the Boundary County Nursing Home in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

Private interment was held in the Grandview Cemetery, Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the Seventh-day Adventist Church North of Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

Lee was born in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, on June 16, 1923, to Charles and Edna McGlocklin. He was the third of six children; Robert (deceased), Gene (deceased), Marita (Albert), Paul (deceased), and Beverly (Tuin).

Lee served in the US Army in WWII from Dec 14, 1943, to March 13, 1946, and the Korean War from Sept 13, 1950, to Aug 24, 1951.

Married in June 26, 1950, he was the father of four daughters; Kathy (Utter), Debra (Haven), Deanna (Wong), and Tammy (White).

Lee lived and worked in various places in Idaho, Washington, and California before finally settling in Washington State in 1962. He worked a couple of years for Boeing in Seattle, then Pacific Car & Foundry in Renton. After 17 years with PAC CAR he retired and moved to Sweet Home, Ore., living there for several years, until returning home to Bonners Ferry, Idaho, in 2005.

Lee peacefully fell asleep in the Lord on Sunday, July 2011.
