No fireworks show a slap in the face

| July 7, 2011 8:32 AM

I’m going to ask or state this as polite as possible.

What is the deal with our family's not getting the chance to enjoy and celebrate liberty, freedom and independence on the Fourth day of July with some fireworks?

Is the city or county that jacked up that its boys, men if you will, are fighting a war in Iraq everyday for liberty, freedom and independence and our families can’t feel close to their loved ones so many miles away with a fireworks celebration?

I am honestly disgusted about it and don’t see myself fighting for the people of Bonners Ferry that could have made things happen but didn't do it.

I fight for my family, friends, state and the beautiful county. Some of the people in Bonners Ferry are very poor individuals upsets me.

Oh and one other thing I hope whomever could have made a fireworks show happen reads this.  Think of how much it means to not watch fireworks for those loved ones that have lost their soldiers for your freedom and your independence.

I hope you feel big about yourself. Sitting there not doing a damn thing to serve your community when we're serving our country.

Shows some people’s real colors, selfish and conceited.

Serving proudly with the men and women of Bonners Ferry here in Iraq.
