Crystal Marie Anderson

Crystal Marie Anderson, 84, passed away on July 20, 2011, at Life Care in Sandpoint, Idaho.  

She passed away very peacefully with her family by her side, holding her hands. Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 25, 2011, at 2 p.m. in the Grandview Cemetery in Bonners Ferry, Idaho in interment following.

Crystal was born on April 16, 1927, to Charles and Hazel Cowell. She grew up in Naples, Idaho, and attended Naples Elementary and graduated from Bonners Ferry High School.  

She married Roy Anderson on March 16, 1952, and they were happily married for 55 years until Roy’s passing on March 23, 2007, only one week after their 55th anniversary. They had two children Lorrie Denice Miller and Daryle Roy Anderson.

Crystal worked as a cook for the Naples Elementary School for 20 years.  Her biggest passion was her family. She always took care of everybody.  You could always count on a good meal, cookies, or just a place to go and feel at home.

Crystal is survived by her two children Lorrie Miller and husband Jacob; and Daryle; five grand-daughters, Melanie, Renae, Heather, Melissa and Jamie and 13 great-grandchildren and one on the way.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roy, parents Charles and hazel Cowell, her brother Charlie and sisters Dorothy, Bessie, Laurie and Lilly.
