Have a musical, 'Suesical' good time this weekend

| June 9, 2011 7:06 AM

It is Dr. Seuss set to some amazing music performed by some of the strongest young performers in our area, at what will become Bonners Ferry's own Pearl Theatre.

The performances of “Seussical, Jr.”  by Bonners Ferry's award winning children's choir Swingin' on a Star will be at 7 p.m., Saturday, June 11 through Tuesday, June 14, with a 3 p.m. showing on  Sunday,  June 12, in the The Pearl Theater (the old Community Fellowship Church)on Ash Street just off of Hwy. 95 in downtown Bonners Ferry.

Seating is limited to about 75 people per performance. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students 18 and under.

This is a chance to see the "oyster" which will become the Pearl Theater this fall and meet its owner Carolyn Testa. More than 20 young performers will present a show full of laughs, jubilant music and warm hearted "Seussical" moments in which people can all see themselves.

Children will be encouraged to sit on mats on the floor in front of the stage. Tickets are available at Thompson Chiropractic on Hwy. 95, from cast members, and at the door.
