Like the feds, he too looking to get by

A look at the lighter side:

A few days ago the president ordered the cabinet to cut a whopping $100 million from the $3.6 trillion federal budget.

I’m so impressed by their sacrifice that I have decided to do the same thing with my personal budget. I spend about $2,000 a month on groceries, medicine, bills, etc. but it’s time to get out the budget cutting axe, go line by line through my expenses and go to work.

I’m going to cut my expenses exactly the same ratio 1/35000 of my total budget. After doing the math, it looks like instead of $2,000 a month, I’m going to have to cut that number by six cents.

Yes, I’m going to have to get by with $1.999.94 but that is what sacrifice is all about. I’ll just have to do without some things that are, probably, luxuries.

On the heavier side:

Did you know that Idaho Fish and Game is planning a diversion project on Smith Creek, a federal grant money operation to allegedly help the burbot.  However according to a Fish and Game biologist there is nothing they can do one way or the other with the creek to help the burbot because they don’t come up any farther upstream than Goat river by Creston.  For further info call me at 267-5742.
