Penguin Plunge Saturday

Don’t miss the Penguin Plunge for Special Olympics this Saturday, March 5, at the mouth of Deep Creek on the Kootenai River. 

Registration for Plungers starts at 11 a.m. and the Plungers start to jump into the Kootenai at noon. 

Jo Jo Baker will be the MC, and a few conrestants of the  Distinguished Young Women, formerly Junior Miss, pageant may take the plunge.

Mario's new Mexican restaurant will be providing a hot meal for the plungers, and have other meals available for purchase for spectators. 

Mugsy's is also hosting an Ice Breaker at 4 p.m., Friday with specials to help support the event.

All funds raised from the Penguin Plunge will go to Special Olympics Idaho to benefit the Special Olympic Athletes.
