Seniors support supplemental levy

| March 3, 2011 7:36 AM

We are Boundary County senior citizens living for the most part on fixed incomes. There is no question but that these are hard times for most people here, including the elderly. But despite our own needs, we recognize that we are an integral part of the community, and no community can thrive without a properly run and funded public school system.

We are voting “YES” on the upcoming M & O levy because we know that our children need to have their needs met, especially when adequate State funding has not been forthcoming. Our children are our future, and their future depends on having the tools M & O funding can provide for them to face life’s challenges that lie ahead.
