Democracy works only with educated citizenry

Why don’t the folks whining about the school levy get a clue?

State law mandates a levy every two years to replace the former funds which have been used, not in addition to them.

Do you really want to live in a country of uneducated dolts?  Remember they will get to vote just like you.

Someone paid taxes so that you can learn to read, write and think, so you can write a letter to the editor. Get a grip, it’s your turn to step up to the plate.

Yes, I am a property owning tax payer  without children or grandchildren in school.

Vote yes on the re-run of the levy. Democracy does not work with an uneducated citizenry.
