Patricia “Pat” Ruth Riley

Patricia “Pat” Ruth Riley passed away Feb. 8, 2011, in Everett, Wash., after a short battle with cancer.

There will be a private family service at a later date.  She will be put to rest at Grandview Cemetery in Bonners Ferry.

Pat was born Jan. 30, 1938, in Morcroft, Wyo., to Harry and Ruth Arthur.

She moved with her family to  Bonners Ferry in the fall of 1951 where she attended school and worked for a short time at the old restorium. Pat married Colonel Hetzel and had two children, Arthur Ross and Sharon Ann.

Pat later married Gary Riley, who had two children Gary Lee, and Kathy.  Pat had 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Ruth Arthur, sister Charlene and brothers Harry jr., Gerald and Thomas and her first husband Colonel.

She is survived by second husband Gary Riley, daughter Sharon Ann and her husband Doug Wines, all of Marysville, Wash.  She is also survived by her son Arthur Ross Hetzel of Kenmore, Wash., and Gary Lee and Anita Riley of Puyallup, Wash., Kathy Perry of Texas, and her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Pat’s surviving siblings are Nina Jackson of Hayden, Wilbur Arthur and wife Barb of Payette, John Arthur and Wife Wanda of Bonners Ferry, Donald Arthur and wife Mary of Oxnard, Calif., Sharon Busucchia and husband Jim of Rathdrum, Kenneth Arthur and wife Carol of Bonners Ferry, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Pat will be missed by all.
