Paul Eugene Brown

Paul Eugene Brown was born Aug. 8, 1958, in Torrance, Calif. He was the son of Doyle Eugene Brown and Dora (Watson) Brown, joining two sisters. He died Oct. 4, 2011, at the age of 53.

His family moved to Bonners Ferry, Idaho, when he was a small child. He attended school in Bonners Ferry and participated in track, football and wrestling.

He grew up on Deep Creek, where he acquired his love of the outdoors. As a grown man, he took pride in being a carpenter, following in the footsteps of his grandfather, Art Watson. Paul had many lifelong friends.

He married Pam Doyle and had a daughter, Conda. That marriage ended in divorce. He married Darlene La Rochelle in 1986 and was blessed with two more daughters, Nicole and Natasha. Paul adored his daughters and grandchildren.

He leaves behind his grandmother, Sylvia Watson; his parents, Doyle (Gene) and Dora Brown; sisters, Mary George and Brenda Hill; daughter, Conda Jean, and her children, Michael, Mathew and Larryssa; daughters, Nicole and Natasha; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He died from complications of diabetes, which he had lived with for 16 years.

A memorial of his life is planned at 1 p.m. on Oct. 22, 2011, at the Paradise Grange on Kootenai Trail Road in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. It will be a potluck but, more importantly, bring your memories, stories and photos of Paul to share.
