A Bonners Ferry woman pled guilty Tuesday to three counts of grand theft.

Jennifer Watts, 40, admitted to taking money from 2008 to 2010 from the Selkirk Loop Association while she was an employee.

According to court records, Watts is very remorseful and wants to take full responsibility.

She entered into a plea agreement with the prosecuting attorney which if the judge agrees to would have her pay the association $130,000.

Under the proposal, she would not serve time in prison, although she could do local jail time.

Watts is scheduled for sentencing in January 2012.
