Girls soccer defeats Libby

The Badgers girls soccer team came out with intensity defeating the Libby Loggers 5-0.

With a powerful combination of strength in the defense and execution of the offense, the Badgers were unstoppable.

Senior, Amanda Riley had an incredible game with three goals and one assist.

The first goal came from Riley off an assist from Liz Racer. Lindsay Taggert had the second goal of the night, first goal of her career, off an assist from Riley. The Badgers ended the first half with a third goal from  Riley, assisted by Natasha Litterell.

The Badgers continued the intensity into the second half with a late goal by Riley. The fifth and final goal came from Sophmore Anika Blackmore, her first for the season.

“These girls have been working extremely hard in practice and it is showing during the games,” said coach Erin Delude.

The girls play again at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 24 at home.
