Watts waives prelim

A Bonners Ferry woman who worked for the International Selkirk Loop allegedly embezzled money in the form of checks from 2008 through 2010 will face charges in October.

Jennifer  Watts, 40,  waived her preliminary hearing on Monday and will be arraigned in fromt of Judge Steve Verby on Tuesday, Oct. 4.

The prosecuting attorney has verified information and three felony charges of grand theft were leveled against Watts.  

The case will be tried by a Kootenai County prosecutor David Robins.
