Man killed when bike collides with deer

A Moyie Springs man was killed when the motorcycle he was driving was struck collided with a deer while driving on Highway 2 Saturday evening.

According to the Idaho State Police, Wayne W. Williams, 51, and Kelli S. Williams, 48, were traveling west riding a 2011 Harley Davidson at about 6:39 p.m. when a deer came onto the roadway and into their path of travel near milepost 76.1. Police say neither rider was wearing a helmet.

The collision caused the motorcycle to go off the highway. Wayne was pronounced dead at the scene, while Kelli was transported by ambulance to Boundary Community Hospital.
