Beloved wife, mother and sisterm Patsy Elizabeth (Hammell) Turner, born Aug. 24, 1932, died on Friday, March 3, 2012.

Pat is survived by her husband of 60 years Bryan Leroy Turner, one brother and three sisters, five children, 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Pat graduated from Bonners Ferry High School in Idaho in 1951 and shortly after married her high school sweet heart Bryan. They moved, with their growing family, to the Tacoma area in 1963

She loved working with her hands crocheting, drawing portraits, and researching the family’s genealogy.

During her 60-year marriage to Bryan she had many roles including wife, mother, sister, friend and neighbor, business woman, executive secretary, commercial salmon fisherwoman.

She was always an eager participant in the many activities that created memories for the people she was involved with. After retiring she and Bryan traveled extensively by RV and she was affectionately called the map reader.

Pat will be fondly remembered for her ability to stay busy, her story telling and her wit. She was a special Lady who will be greatly missed.
