Story on boxing club well received

After being born and raised in Bonners Ferry I left but receive the paper and read it every week.

Imagine my surprise to open the March 15 edition and find the article written on the early days of the Bonners Ferry AAU Jaycee Boxing Club.  Boy did the pictures bring back good memories.

I am grateful to Julie Golder, staff writer, for your interest in boxing.

A special appreciation to Jack Flinn for your contribution. What a nice article. Tom would be so proud. He loved all the kids he coached through the years like they were his. He had a deep love for boxing and the kids. Thanks again.
