Buck Crum

Buck Crum was born on Aug. 3, 1924, in Monroe, Mich., and passed away on April 18, 2012 in Hayden, Idaho.

Graveside services will be held at 13:30 military time (1:30 p.m.)  May 5, 2012 at Grandview Cemetery located in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

Buck served in WWII and the Korean War.  He received a purple heart and three bronze stars.

He found his way to Bonners Ferry on Dec. 6, 1951 where he would meet Belle Worley.  

Ten days later they would marry and would raise six children.

Buck retired from the Idaho Transportation Department. His hobbies were upholstery, hunting, enjoying the outdoors and helping his sons in construction.

Buck is survived by his sister Grace of Michigan, his children Roy Crum, Lee Crum, Clara Waltering, Rena Villanueva (Mario), and Sue Bel (Paul) who all reside in Idaho.

He has 17 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

Buck was preceded in death by his wife Ester Belle, his son Donald Ray Crum, Sr. and his sisters Cleo, Rena and Faye.

Buck will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
