Marcie Lee (Buck) Kramer, 39

| August 20, 2012 8:48 AM

“Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, she became a butterfly.”

Marcie Lee (Buck) Kramer was born on Dec. 1, 1972, and died on July 30, 2012, in Seattle, Wash.

Her smile could light up a room, her laugh was contagious. She had a wicked sense of humor and heart of gold.

These attributes were passed along and live within her children, Austin and Kami Kramer.

Marcie was born in Sandpoint, Idaho, to Thomas and Maida Millard Buck.

She attended local schools, graduating from Sandpoint High School in 1991. She was blessed with the gift of her son Austin in 1994 and married Rory Kramer that same year. A beautiful girl, Kami Lee, completed their family in 1996.

Although Rory and Marcie divorced in 2002, they had recently reconnected and spent the past year rebuilding and growing together as a family with the Kramer family at Stampede Lake in Naples, Idaho.

She held various jobs throughout her life: As a waitress, front desk receptionist, certified nurses’ assistant, and also provided respite care for families with Down Syndrome children.

Marcie is survived by her children, Austin and Kami Kramer; their father Rory Kramer; her parents ,Thomas and Maida Buck; sister Alana (Dewayne) Temple; brother Daniel (Jamie) Buck; nieces and nephews Brandon and Michael Buck, Taylor and Emma Temple, and great niece and nephews Aliah, Caden and Neiko Buck.

In lieu of flowers, an account has been established at Panhandle State Bank, the Austin and Kami Fund. A private family memorial service will take place at a later date.

The family thanks you all for your love and support.
