Wrestlers take first in JV tournament

Thirteen Bonners Ferry Badger wrestlers traveled to Coeur d'Alene Saturday, to a J.V. tournament and brought home two firsts; three seconds; and three third places.

Placing first were Devin Schalk at 152 pounds and Rankin Langely at 285 pounds.

Placing seconds were Tyson Boorman at 138 pounds; Will Gaspar at 220 pounds and Morris McAleister at 285 pounds. Placing thirds were Aaron Smith at 98 pounds; Matt Tucker at 126pounds and Mike Brown at 220 pounds.

Varsity wrestlers did not have any matches and the whole team looks forward to districts this weekend at Lakeland Friday, Feb. 17 and Saturday, Feb. 18. 3A schools will be sending the top four in each weight class to State next week in Pocatello.
