Hedlund, Lantrip concert Saturday

Justin Lantrip and Josh Hedlund play live Saturday July 21 at 7 p.m. at the Pearl Theater in Bonners Ferry.

This show features two of the area’s unique and dynamic acoustic songwriters. They have both made their respective waves in the music scene locally and regionally and now join in a shared concert.

Tickets are $8 at the door. The Cafe at the Pearl opens at 6 p.m. for savory snacks, desserts, wine, beer, and other beverages.

Josh Hedlund, writer of over a hundred songs, weaves sorrow and joy into traditional and non traditional blues and folk progressions.

Justin Lantrip is described as “An awesome talent, filled with raw passion and emotion. The subtle nuances of his voice bring to mind familiarity, all the while remaining distinct and unique,” by Mike Droke at MADhouse Productions.

Hedlund and Lantrip are part of a series of area artists featured at Bonners Ferry’s unique Pearl Theater.

The Pearl was built as a church in the late 1880’s and was renovated last year into the new community theater.
