Lawrence (Larry) R. Morrison, 86

Lawrence R. Morrison "Larry" died at home in Bonner's Ferry, Idaho, Feb. 7, 2012, after suffering from a heart attack.The memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 30 following the Fly-In, at the Boundary County Airport in Bonner's Ferry.  

Born in Winegar, Wis., on May 6, 1926, to Ray and Pearl Morrison, Larry was known to all as an avid pilot, photographer, and a man who cherished his family and friends Larry is survived by his wife Beverley, his son Mike and his wife Joan, his daughter Terri and her husband Dave, their son's Brandon, Kyle, Paul, and Erik, and his wife Kimberley, their daughter Lily.  

Larry's love of flying began as a young boy, later serving in WW II as a tailgunner, and he continued his flying career eventually owning his own business in Parma, Idaho, where he was an agricultural crop duster and aerial photographer for 50 years.  

This also grew into scenic photography and a wedding photo business.  Larry was also a solid mechanic, so friends and family often turned to Larry to fix whatever didn't work.In the last few years, Larry enjoyed volunteering at the Experimental Aircraft Association and helping with the monthly fly-ins.  

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the E.A.A. (Experimental

Aircraft Association) to help finance flying lessons in the E.A.A. scholarship program.
