Charity flag football game Saturday

| June 21, 2012 6:58 AM

A charity flag football game to help purchase a special tricycle for a young boy with cerebral palsy takes place Saturday.

The goal is to purchase Aiden Brenamen, 5, a tricycle that he can maneuver on his own, according to James Solum of U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Brenamen has a tricycle, however someone else must help him ride it because its design does not accommodate his needs.

A modified tricycle will give him the ability to ride on his own.

The North Idaho DHS flag football game will pit U.S. Customs and Border Protection against the U.S. Border Patrol. It takes place at 5 p.m. at the Bonners Ferry High School football field.

Admission to the game is free, however donations will be accepted to help purchase the tricycle.

A 50/50 drawing will be held at the game and BCMS parents will man a food booth.
