For the first time, the Boundary County Parks and Recreation Association in conjunction with the Boundary County Tennis Association is putting on a four-day adult tennis camp.

This camp will be open to adults over the age of 18 and includes all skill levels. The camp will be held at the Boundary County tennis courts by the fairgrounds baseball fields.

The camp will run on Monday and Wednesday evenings July 16-17, and July 23 and 25 from 6–7:15 p.m. Open play can occur after 7:15 p.m. if enough interest is there to continue.

Items to be worked on include basic ground stroke skills (forehand and backhand), volley skills. lobe skills and serving.

If appropriate, both singles and partner/team doubles tactics and strategies will be discussed. However, the main goal of the camp is to get out on the courts, hit the ball and have some fun.

Necessary equipment (racquets and tennis balls) are provided and cost of the four-class event is $25, which includes a T-shirt.
