Marilyn Jane (Nystrom)Anderson, 74, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2012.

Services were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 28, at Christ Lutheran Church, 5356 N. Hillside in Wichita, Kan. She attended school there and graduated from there; her Mom taught school there and her dad was the sheriff.

Anderson retired as the city of Wichita administrative assistant.

She is survived by a son, Steve (Joanie) Anderson of Jacksonville, Fla.; daughters, Lisa (Jonathan) Meyers of Cologne, Minn., and Wendy Bishop of Sedgwick; grandchildren Lacey Bishop, Luke Bishop and Haley Anderson; brothers, Don (Carole) Nystrom and Ken (Donna) Nystrom; sisters, Carol (Tom) Pickeral and Gail (Haven) Hendricks.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard B. Anderson.
