Town has problems

| November 21, 2012 9:16 AM

Your small town has a student drug problem, drinking problem and now threats sent to your schools.

How many of those homes for lost boys do you have scattered in the woods and mountains around your little town? It seems to be a Bonners Ferry industry.

Our family had a terrible experience with one of those places and I imagine it can’t be good for your small community to attract and house so many troubled boys. It’s also not good for the boys who need more than a house and food to grow and prosper.

One of those schools was housing and feeding but not supervising or nurturing my grandson. Why are so many of those programs in your county? Could it be lack of oversight makes it easy for them to locate there?

What percentage of your student population are from these pseudo homes? How are your children served by hanging out and making friends with this troubled group?

These unsupervised boys missing their families and acting out are not good for your schools or your kids. They do bring in a lot of money....a lot of money. The troubled teen industry is growing fast and if your town does not take action you will have more and more of these kids hanging out with yours.
