Saddened by soldier's death

On Aug. 17 my wife and I passed through Bonners Ferry on our way to our Grandson’s 20th birthday celebration in Spokane.
We noticed people lining the road and waving flags; a few miles toward Sandpoint we found out what this was all about. It was a beautiful tribute to a fallen soldier. We pulled over to the side of the road as the procession carrying his body and his family passed. We were deeply touched. With what is going on around the world, this one moment in time proved to us that there are still caring people in the world (at least in northern Idaho).
Our prayers go out for the family of Ethan Martin and the community. We are very sorry for your loss.
