Virginia Alice Williams, 96

Virginia Alice Williams, 96, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at her home near Sandpoint, Idaho. Private family services will be held at a later date.

Virginia was born on Nov. 5, 1915, in Toledo, Ohio, to Alfred and Bertha Bissonnette. She later moved to Los Angeles and worked as a nanny.

She married Earle Williams on Sept. 4, 1938, in Los Angeles. In 1965 the couple moved to Bothell, Wash., and in 1995 moved to Sandpoint, Idaho.

Virginia loved babies and she enjoyed reading, sewing, cooking Japanese dinners, and entertaining friends.

She is survived by her daughter Barbara Pardee of Sandpoint; son Steven (Rise`) Williams of Des Moines, WA; seven grandchildren: Loraine Foerstel of Sandpoint, Lucinda Foerstel of Sandpoint, Lynette (Dan) Nelson of Vancouver, Wash., Carin (Joel) Moline of southern California, Jeff (Jennifer) Williams of Texas, Mike Williams of Meza, Ariz., and Pam (Charlie) Cook of Renton, Wash.; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Earle, son Loren, and seven siblings.
