City officials resign

BONNERS FERRY — Two Bonners Ferry officials have resigned from their positions with the city.

Assistant city administrator David Sims and city attorney Tim Wilson both tenured their resignations in August.

Sims resigned to take the helm of Boundary Economic Development Council as its director, following the retirement of Mike Sloan.

Wilson submitted a letter to Mayor Anderson and the City Council on Aug. 13, 2012, in which he terminated his representation in all capacities effective Sept. 30.

The BEDC is a partnership of local governments covering the interests of Boundary County in North Idaho.

It promotes environmentally responsible economic and natural resource development in Boundary County.

BEDC’s mission is to promote public infrastructure improvements to the community that will lend themselves to the future growth and development of the community.
