Boys improve record

The Badger baseball team traveled to Kellogg Tuesday, April 23 and came away with a 10 – 6 win over the Kellogg Wildcats in IML play.

The win improves their record to 10 – 8 and 4 – 3 going into the last weekend of the season.

Senior Will Weir pitched a complete game striking out nine and walking two. He also had two hits and three RBI for the Badgers. Senior Jesse Woods hit a RBI double in the first inning. The Wildcats committed five errors in the game.

Bonners Ferry will travel to Priest River Saturday, April 27 to take on the Spartans for control of second place in league.

District playoffs begin on Friday, May 10 at Timberlake High School.
