Little League Week

Mayor David Anderson proclaimed the week of Aug. 5 through Aug. 9 as Bonners Ferry Little League Week.

The Bonners Ferry Little League Yankees Team won the State title for Little League in Boise and traveled to Irvine, California to participate in the Western Regional Tournament to qualify for participation in the intermediate division of the Little League World Series.

Anderson decided it was fitting to celebrate and focus attention upon the Yankees and recognize their success.

He urges all citizens in Bonners Ferry to recognize and congratulate the Little League Yankee team members and coaches for their enthusiastic participation in the 2013 baseball season.
