Badger boys win first game

| December 12, 2013 10:37 AM

Cameron Woods and Kyler Rice led a balanced Bonners Ferry scoring attack with 16 and 15 points, respectively, in the boy’s varsity first game of the season on Dec. 3 against Coeur d’Alene Charter. The Badgers led the entire game, winning 62-21.

The boys scored early and often in transition and did a good job of attacking the rim.

“It was a good game to start the season. We are very much a work in progress and this game did not really reflect that fact,” said Coach Brian Woods, who is in his first year at the helm. “We will continue to work hard in practice and in games to get better as individuals and as a team.”
