Tough but close game for Lady Badgers

The Lady Badgers lost to Lakeland 51-45 on Thursday, Dec. 5 during an away game. The Badgers were down 17 in the second half and climbed back and had a chance to tie in the final minute.

Desirae Minor led the Lady Badgers with 16 points and 11 rebounds. McKenzie MacDonald and Emma Kelly both scored 3-point goals.

“I was extremely proud of every girl in our program as we played as hard as any set of teams I have coached,” said coach Chris Chatburn.

The Lady Badgers’ C team beat Lakeland 28-26. Grace Coughlin made the steal and score to win it for us said Chatburn. 

The Lady JV’s lost a tough game and are missing a couple of players due to injury.
