Lady Badgers defeat Libby

The Lady Badgers defeated the Libby Loggers 36-29 on Tuesday, Dec. 10 in Libby. The Badgers were down 11-5 after one quarter but quickly recovered in the second quarter to stay ahead of Libby in the second half.

The Badgers were led by Kaley Piatz with nine points and eight rebounds and McKenzie MacDonald with eight points and six rebounds.

There were great contributions off bench from Aaliyah Zarate, Regan Byers and Kayleigh Morgan in a tightly called game that featured 39 fouls said coach Chris Chatburn.

“Overall our defense in the second half was very good and we had our best game on the boards, rebounding the Loggers by 10,” said Chatburn.
