Holiday closures

The Landfill, Naples, Paradise Valley and North Junction monitored sites will be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 25 for Christmas Day and Wednesday, Jan. 1 for New Year’s Day. All sites will also be closing at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 24 for Christmas Eve.

The Boundary County Courthouse will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 1. The courthouse will close at noon on Tuesday, Dec. 24 and Tuesday, Dec. 31.

The Boundary County Extension office will be closed Monday, Dec. 23 through Wednesday, Jan. 1. Regular office hours resume on Jan. 2.

Frederickson’s B.F. Garbage will be closed Dec. 25 and Jan. 1 and pickups will occur one day later.

The United States Post Office is closed and will not deliver mail on Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.

Bonners Ferry City Hall is closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day but will be open regular hours on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

The Boundary County Library is closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day and is closing at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 24.

The library is open regular hours (9 a.m. to 6 p.m.) on New Year’s Eve.

All banks are closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. On Tuesday, Dec. 24, Wells Fargo Bank is closing at 3 p.m., Panhandle State Bank is closing at noon, Mountain West Bank is closing at 3 p.m. and Potlatch No. 1 Federal Credit Union is closing at 1:30 p.m. Wells Fargo Bank, Panhandle Bank and Potlatch FCU will be open regular hours on New Year’s Eve.
