Alabama siege over

| February 22, 2013 8:00 AM

A young boy has been rescued after six days from his capture who killed a caring and responsible bus driver. Everyone has prayed for the boys safety and well-being.

This incident could happen anywhere in the U.S., so therefore this is not a unique event.

As seen on CCN there has been a huge collaboration of law enforcement at the scene with trucks, satellites, armament and personnel that is familiar with the government’s presence, such as Ruby Ridge right here in Boundary County in 1992.

The local sheriff’s office in Alabama didn’t seem to be in charge, they looked more like a support team with local volunteers.

This man committed several felony crimes in the jurisdiction, not interstate or against the U.S.

The problem I have with this event is that if you let the feds take over the word immunity comes to the forefront of everything that happens. Remember Kevin Harris and Vicki who were shoot by Horiuchi a government sniper given an order to do so.

Was this a prudent cautious act, or a single FBI leader on the scene getting revenge for the lose of the Marshal (Degan) killed the day before?

My point is with the current uprise for gun legislation, more laws and regulations that won’t stop more tragedies somewhere in the future.

The government nor the state of Idaho have scratched the problem of mental illness, much less reporting adjudicated cases by the courts to NIC’s possibly stopping sales of firearms to those who are not responsible to own them.

The Connecticut mom who hid a monster for years had the finances to help her son who was 20, therefore protected by HIPAA leaving the family helpless. Whether it’s Phoenix, Aurora or Newtown what does society do to protect itself? Taking my gun leaves me defenseless against those willing to harm or kill us. Don’t forget 237 years when we fought a tyrannical government, thus creating a great nation with the right to bear arms.
