McKallister wins in JV tourney

SANDPOINT _— The Bonners Ferry High School JV wrestlers traveled to Sandpoint Saturday, Jan. 5 for the eight team Sandpoint JV Tournament. The Badgers brought home one champion, three second place and two third place finishes.

The champion was Morris McKallister at 285. Second place finishers were Chase Erickson at 120, Tyson Boorman at 138 and Travis Beck at 182. Jaeger Schnuerle at 113 and Josh Miller at 145 scored thirds. The whole team travels to Timberlake on the Jan. 8 for a two-team duel at 5 p.m. in Spirit Lake.
