Naples community watch meeting scheduled
A preliminary community watch meeting will be held in Naples on Friday, Jan. 11 at 7 p.m. The meeting will discuss proposals for a viable and sustainable community watch program for our Naples community.
An outline has been developed but a successful community watch program requires direct community input and participation.
Please take this opportunity to help our community be safer, stronger.
The goals of this meeting are:
• Identify immediate and long term concerns
• Propose immediate and sustainable solutions
• Outline immediate steps to improve our safety and security.
• Develop a network of intra-community participants
• Define reporting channels
• Select three to five key personnel for direct interaction with Sheriff’s Office.
• Establish call priority with the sheriff’s office.
Greg Sprungl has been invited to attend. This is 100 percent volunteer and unfunded/unpaid at this point.
The meeting will be at the South Boundary Fire Hall and Community Center. For questions, call Gary Leonard at 946-9579.
