Stacy Gjovik Gamet, 41

Stacy Gjovik Gamet, 41, passed away at her home in Moyie Springs, Idaho, on Jan. 6, 2013.

Stacy was born to Sandra Gjovik Selstad in Thief River Falls, Minn., on April 27, 1971. She graduated from Thief River High School in 1989.

After graduation she was employed with US West Communications in Fargo, N.D.

In 1996 she transferred to US West/Qwest in Boise, Idaho, where she worked until 2006.

Stacy married Jeffrey T. Gamet in Boise on Aug. 16, 2003.

In 2009, Jeffrey and Stacy moved to Moyie Springs, Idaho, where she resided until her death.

Stacy is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Gamet of Moyie Springs; her father and mother-in-law, Ronnie and Mary Gamet of Bonners Ferry; her stepson, Jeffrey James Gamet of Moyie Springs; her stepdaughter, Kristina Gamet Haynes; and granddaughter Nicole of Davenport, Iowa.

She also is survived by her sister-in-law, Sherry Distefano and her two daughters, Gill Ranalls and Lori Ragan of Colorado; sister-in-law Debra Creutzberg, husband William and three children, Kyle, Ashley and Bailey; two uncles, her aunt and uncle Judy and Rod Braaten of Fargo, N.D., who she loved very much; her best friend, Qwen Flom and son Taylor of Thief River Falls, and many other family and friends.

Stacy was preceded in death by her mother in 1996.

She was a wonderful wife, daughter, mother and friend.

She will be missed by all, especially her loving husband and stepchildren, whom Stacy adored.
