Girls win Hoopfest division

The Hash Slinging Slashers won bracket 197 on U.S. Bank 6 court during Hoopfest in Spokane.

Emma Kelly, Lily Luckey, Desirae Minor and Abby Skeen won four games to become the winner of their bracket in the high school female division.

There were 20 different bracket winners in the high school female division.

Several other teams from Boundary County played in Hoopfest.

The Wedas team consisted of Abby Davis, Kerstin Oxford, Regan Byars, Kayleigh Morgan. The Brodsters were Jessi Gibbons, McKenna Stewart, Jasmine Hill and Kelsey Carter. Air Jesus included Jailee Foster, Kaley Piatz, Jeffrey Foster and Gregg Snow.

The Swishers were Bradly Clausen, Andre Zarate, Andrew Spayth and Garrett Skeen. The TFA team was Joshua Pluid, Ryan Ferrens, Evan Moe and Cameron Woods. The Jack team included Aubree Wasmer, Kyler Rice, John Brown and Connor Bennett. The No Good team included Kassy Skeen, Kinzie Unruh, Trinity Golder and Maggi Pluid.
