Marian Jean Langford, 69

Marian Jean Langford, 69, passed away peacefully with her husband of 50 years by her side on July 14, 2013.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2013, at 10 a.m. in the Mountain Springs Church in Bonners ferry, Idaho, with interment following in the Grandview Cemetery,

Marian was born on Dec. 2, 1943, in Northome, Minn., to Eugene and Charlotte Kelley. She attended schools in Minnesota, Montana and Idaho, graduating from Bonners Ferry High School.

On Aug. 4, 1962, she was married to her best friend and true love Ralph Langford. They made their home in Bonners Ferry.They were blessed with two sons: Ralph, Jr. and Neal.

She worked in Bonners Ferry as the “perfect” employee at several jobs around Bonners Ferry including Tafts, IGA and Boundary Trading Co. She raised quarter horses, paints and the most beautiful appalaloosas you have ever seen; she loved being competitive in horse showing.

She was a beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandma, sister, aunt, daughter, niece and friend to everyone she met.

Marian was known for her perkiness and always responded to the question “how are you?” as “perfect” no matter her situation.

She was an inspiration to everyone in her life. One of her greatest joys was her grandchildren: Lacie, Tyler, Dustin, and Casey and her great-grandchildren Castyn, Bailey and Chayce.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son Ralph, her parents, three brothers and one sister.

Marian is survived by her husband, Ralph; son Neal and wife Charmaine; sister Arylsse Becker; brothers Arnold, Dale, and Lonnie; four grandchildren: Lacie Langford Robinson (Steven) Tyler, Dustin and Casey (Rachel); and great grandchildren: Castyn, Bailey and Chase; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
