Cheryl Lee Florea, 62

Cheryl Lee Florea, 62, passed away on July 3, 2013 in Great Falls, Mont. Cheryl was born on Aug. 25, 1950, in Minneapolis, Minn., to Theodore and Delores Metro.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, Aug. 2 at 10 a.m. at the Moravia Cemetery, Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

Cheryl grew up in Bonners Ferry, attending Bonners Ferry High School. Shortly after, she met the love of her life, Robert Florea. Robert and Cheryl were married on March 17, 1968, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and welcomed two children, Patrick Joseph and Melysa Rae.

Cheryl enjoyed their life together for 45 years, making many friends along the way. She enjoyed many hobbies and interests.

Cheryl spent many years in the restaurant industry, managing and as an owner. Cheryl ran Goodies Galore in Chinook, Mont., for the last few years of her life.

She also enjoyed many arts and crafts, including her special glass block art.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, Robert Florea, son Patrick (Lisa) Florea of Havre, Mont., daughter Melysa (James) Halseth of Harlem, Mont., granddaughter Brogan Overcast and grandson Kale (Serena) Overcast, her mother Delores Evans, brothers Greg Metro, Rick Metro and Tom Metro, numerous nephews and nieces and grandchildren and great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her father Theodore Metro and stepfather Edward Evans.
