Don’t forget to turn your clocks ahead one hour Saturday night or Sunday morning for daylight saving time.
You’ll lose an hour of sleep when your clocks spring ahead at 2 a.m. on Sunday, March 10.
The time shift means more daylight in the evening and less in the morning for now.
It is less than two weeks before the spring equinox , on March 20. The length of day and night will be nearly equal and the sun will be directly overhead at the equator.
In Bonners Ferry, the 12-hour milestone of daylight is on March 17, when the sun rises at 5:54 a.m. and sets at 5:54 p.m.
