Tamera Stemmene

Tamera Lynn Stemmene was born in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, on July 4, 1959, to Edgar and Jerre (Snodgrass) Stemmene.

Tammy passed away on May 12, 2013, at the Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho.

She grew up in Bonners Ferry and graduated from Bonners Ferry High School in 1977.

She worked at various jobs in Bonners Ferry until 1985 when she,and her nieces Linda and Denise, moved to Las Vegas.

She moved back to North Idaho and worked at Ponderosa Motors in Coeur d’ Alene until 1994, then moved back to Bonners Ferry and went to work for Riverside Auto as warranty clerk until 2002, when she went to work for the city of Bonners Ferry as payroll clerk.

Tammy retired in 2009 due to ill health.

Tammy was involved with Bonners Ferry Park and Recreation coaching kids in baseball and soccer. She loved playing slow pitch softball and was a big Chicago Cubs fan.

Spending time with her family was very important to her and especially time spent with her great nieces and great nephews.

Tamera was preceded in death by her father, Edgar, and her brothers, Larry and Michael.

She is survived by her mother, Jerre; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Ron Grove; brother, Wilmer (Bill) Stemmene, nieces, Denise (Fred) Maas, and Linda Manley, great nieces, Brenna Maas and Miranda Pierce, great nephews, Zachary Maas and David Willems.
