4 students BFHS valedictorians

Four valedictorians will walk across the stage during the class of 2013 graduation ceremony Saturday, June 1.
Jared Lysne, Jared Mendenhall, Alexander Perkins and Keaton Tremble all graduated with a 4.0 grade point average.
Jared Lysne's favorite part of high school has been his involvement in cross-country. He received the cross country coaches award twice.
Lysne plans to double major in chemistry and chemical engineering at the University of Idaho.
Lysne is best known by his classmates for doing unique things and suggests to future students to get involved early.
He is the senior class representative, National Honor Society vice-president and is involved in cross country, track, Business Professionals of America and the annual.
Jared Mendenhall's favorite part of high school has been "watching all my classmates change from their freshman year." He is known by his classmates for mysteriously having good grades.
Mendenhall plans to attend the University of Idaho and major in exercise science and fitness.
He has been involved in golf, football, pool league, National Honor Society and robotics. He is an Idaho Top Scholar and received the Coaches Award in golf, three underclassmen awards his freshman year, and one underclassmen award his sophomore year.
Mendenhall’s advice to future students is to "have a good time and don't let it all be academic-based."
Alexander (Alec) Perkins favorite part of high school has been sports. He has been involved in cross-country, track, golf and Idaho GEM Boys State.
Perkins plans to attend the Montana Wilderness School of the Bible for one year and then four years of undergraduate study.
He is an Idaho Top Scholar and lettered in cross-country twice. His advice for other students is, "Have fun, you only get to be a kid once."
Perkins says he is best known for "my French accent."
Keaton Tremble's favorite part of high school was getting second and third at soccer state. He has played four years of varsity soccer, two years of basketball and one year of track. He also enjoys backcountry skiing, camping and backpacking.
Tremble plans to study biochemistry and physics at Carleton College. He is a Questbridge National Scholar and recipient of the Questbridge scholarship for a full ride to Carleton College. He has also received an underclassman award.
Tremble is best known for his high-pitched voice and tells future students "it all pays out in the end."
