40 years of senior friendship celebrated

A few months ago, the Bonners Ferry Chapter of AARP celebrated its 40th anniversary.

Unlike the national organization, the local chapter is mainly local seniors meeting with other local seniors for support and friendship and the occasional field trip.

Our seniors are involved in the community and share their involvement with other seniors.

The Idaho State Chapter ably supports the local group, so that programs and information can be made available to local residents.

Meetings are held once a month at the Senior Center on the second Monday of each month at 1 p.m. in the afternoon, and everyone is welcome.

Join the group to see for yourself and to find out what is going on in the Boundary County Senior community, and you will enjoy yourself.
